Where it All Started
Cutting lawns since a teenager, owner Adam Mahon decided to start his own business which has continued to grow into the reputable company known today as Mahon Property Maintenance.
2020
Expansion Year
Beginning in 2020 we moved to our new main branch in Louisville, OH. We maintain a satellite branch in Canton where we have operated out of since 2014.

PRESIDENT
Adam Mahon
With over 21 years of hands-on experience in the landscaping and snow removal industry, Adam brings seasoned expertise and strategic leadership to his role at MAHON Property Maintenance. He oversees sales operations, daily planning, and long-term goal setting—ensuring every client receives the highest standard of service.

Adam’s passion for lawn care took root in 1997 when, at just 12 years old, he began mowing lawns with a family friend. By high school, he had launched his own small lawn care service in Louisville, Ohio. That venture steadily evolved into one of the premier landscape maintenance firms in both the region and the state.

Recognized as an industry thought leader, Adam has been featured in prominent publications including Snow Business, Lawn & Landscape Magazine, and was the cover story in Green Industry Pros in 2013. From 2011 to 2018, he also contributed as a guest columnist for SNOW Magazine.

Adam has grown the company’s snow removal division from a single truck and plow to a fleet of over two dozen specialized vehicles. If you’ve visited a site with exceptionally clean and safe lots during winter storms, chances are it was maintained by MAHON. Adam prides himself on achieving “black and wet” conditions—even in the harshest weather.

CEO
Monica Mahon
Monica Mahon is a key pillar behind the scenes at Mahon Property Maintenance, playing an essential role in the company’s management and ongoing success. Since joining full-time in 2017, Monica has expertly managed payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
​
Before fully dedicating herself to Mahon, Monica was an intervention specialist and Kindergarten teacher. After welcoming her second child in 2017, she shifted her focus to leading the company’s operational systems.
​
Monica’s commitment to excellence extends beyond finance — she has completed Advanced Snow Manager Training through SIMA and is deeply invested in safety within our snow service operations. She has implemented official safety programs and leads regular safety meetings, working closely with our other management staff to keep our crews safe and informed.
​
With over a decade of experience, Monica’s leadership exemplifies the strength and pride of a local, family-owned business. Outside of work, she loves spending quality time with her daughter Addison, son Jaxson, and husband Adam, cheering on Cleveland sports teams, or diving into a good book.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Tony Alessandro
Since joining Team MAHON in 2015, Tony has become an irreplaceable part of the fabric of our organization. Starting as an Account Manager, he quickly demonstrated a unique ability to lead, adapt, and deliver under pressure. Today, while he still plays an active role in account management, Tony’s true calling—and where he truly shines—is in Snow & Ice Management.

When the winter season hits, Tony steps into one of the most demanding roles at MAHON. He leads the charge in coordinating our substantial fleet of snow and ice removal trucks and equipment, ensuring that every route, site, and sidewalk is safely serviced no matter how severe the weather. With around-the-clock availability from November through April, Tony is the calm at the center of every snowstorm, orchestrating operations with precision and passion. His deep knowledge of logistics, commitment to safety, and tireless work ethic are instrumental in helping our clients and communities stay safe and accessible throughout the winter months.

As the snow melts and the seasons change, Tony transitions into his role as Director of Operations, where his leadership continues to drive the heartbeat of our day-to-day work. He oversees all field crews, manages workflow and scheduling, and ensures that every job—no matter the size—is completed to the high standards our clients expect. Tony’s ability to juggle multiple responsibilities, solve problems on the fly, and lead by example makes him a vital force behind MAHON’s continued success and growth.

Tony is known among the team not just for his operational expertise, but also for his steady presence, approachable leadership style, and genuine care for the people he works with. He’s someone who “gets it done” without fanfare, and his impact is felt in every corner of the company.
​
Outside of work, Tony enjoys slowing things down a bit. He spends his free time hobby farming, camping, kayaking, and making memories with his wife, Jess, and their daughter, Alice.

PRODUCTION MANAGER
Steve Duncan
Steve Duncan has been a vital part of Team Mahon for over 3 years, serving as our Production Manager and an essential leader in keeping our operations running smoothly. He oversees the day-to-day production of our landscaping crews, conducts site audits, and reports directly to crew leaders to ensure every job meets our high standards.
​
In addition to his production role, Steve is a Territory Manager for Snow and Ice Management, working closely with our Director of Operations to deliver reliable, responsive service all winter long. His attention to detail, strong leadership, and dedication make him a cornerstone of both our landscaping and snow removal teams.
​
Outside of work, Steve enjoys spending time with his family and dogs, throwing darts, and going all-out with his legendary Christmas displays during the holiday season.
